Mr. Nelson, CCIM, CLS, has decades of experience in commercial property acquisition and sales, as well as the origination and structuring of real estate financing. Mr. Nelson’s current focus is divided into two segments: the retail business and the “land man”. While wearing his “retail business” hat, Mr. Nelson navigates and directs the acquisition, development and leasing of power and neighborhood shopping centers throughout greater Las Vegas. In working in this capacity, Mr. Nelson negotiates leases and sales to major anchor tenants, sales and leases to freestanding pad users, such as restaurants and financial institutions, and negotiates all shop leases for these developments. The “land man” is focused on all aspects of the raw land business, from buying, selling, investing in and aggregating raw land in the Las Vegas Valley. Mr. Nelson, a Las Vegas native, leverages a public accounting and mortgage-banking background to provide financial and analytical counsel. Mr. Nelson received his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of San Diego in 1997 and became licensed with the Nevada Division of Real Estate in 2004. He managed and trained teams of field auditors for audits of the nation’s foremost newspapers.
